Chun Sing, Maliki, Sim Ann and I met with youth leaders today over tea. They come from diverse backgrounds but share one common goal – to contribute to society and help other Singaporeans.
I was impressed with their passion and energy. Ivan developed an app to match volunteers with VWOs’ projects. David gives motivational talks to at-risk youths. Grace is a social entrepreneur trying to help fellow social entrepreneurs get started. In big ways and small, they are helping to build a better Singapore for all of us.
I wish them the very best in pursuing their hopes & passions. – LHL
